**Amazon Delivery Driver Accused of Sexual Assault While on Job**

An Amazon delivery driver in California, Fernando Barreto-Hernandez, has been accused of sexually assaulting a minor and a woman while on the job during two separate instances, according to the Glendale Police Department. The police are now urging any potential additional victims to come forward to assist in their investigation.
The first incident occurred in December 2024 when Barreto-Hernandez was delivering Amazon packages in Los Angeles. He was arrested on January 24 for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor during this delivery. Subsequently, on January 21 in Glendale, another woman accused him of sexually assaulting her while he was on duty as an Amazon delivery driver.
As a result, Barreto-Hernandez faced a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges filed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for the two cases. These charges include lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years old and touching a person against their will for sexual arousal. Despite the accusations, Barreto-Hernandez pleaded not guilty to the charges during court proceedings.
Barreto-Hernandez, who has experience working as a delivery driver for Amazon, Amazon Flex, and FedEx according to the police, is currently out on bond. The Glendale Police Department has issued a plea for any potential additional victims to come forward and provide information to aid in their ongoing investigation.
In response to the allegations, an Amazon spokesperson clarified that delivery drivers are not direct employees of Amazon but work for independent third-party delivery service providers.
