The MSC World Asia will introduce a dedicated Family Aventura District, which promises to be the centrepiece of the ship’s offerings. According to the company, this area is crafted to foster family interaction through a range of attractions that appeal to both children and adults. Notably, one highlight of this section will be The Harbour, which is described as an innovative open-air theme park. It will feature exhilarating attractions and dynamic evening events to ensure families have an enriching experience onboard.

Among the thrilling activities available at The Harbour is the Adventure Trail rope course, where guests can navigate their way through challenges suspended high above the deck. Additionally, passengers can enjoy a ride on the longest dry slide at sea, or attempt the Cliffhanger, which is touted as Europe’s first over-water swing. For younger passengers, The Play Deck provides an interactive playground designed to entertain and engage.
As night falls, The Harbour will transform into a vibrant outdoor theme park, complete with extended evening programmes that promise to dazzle all visitors. Families seeking a variety of activities will find an energetic atmosphere at The Clubhouse, where a multitude of attractions awaits. This venue will not only feature a dedicated LEGO Family Zone but also will host roller skating, bumper cars, and sports sessions led by professional trainers.
In addition to these offerings, The Clubhouse will revive popular MSC entertainment programmes such as Guinness World Records challenges, MasterChef at Sea Juniors, and the lively Doremix Family Disco. A new experience called Out of Control will also be introduced, where participants can compete against one another in time-based obstacle challenges, providing a perfect mix of fun and competition.
Doremiland, occupying an impressive 10,000-square-foot area on deck 19, will cater specifically to different age groups, ensuring engaging spaces for the youngest cruisers. Among the facilities, a Baby Club developed in partnership with the renowned infant brand Chicco will be available. Junior and teenage guests will have access to advanced gaming experiences, including a full arcade and a state-of-the-art MSC Formula Racer simulator.
Another attraction, Luna Park, will offer guests the chance to participate in interactive game shows. MSC Cruises claims this venue as one of its most innovative spaces, promising an engaging experience where the entire area can adapt to host diverse activities, allowing guests to compete in a unique atmosphere unlike any other on a cruise.
Matteo Mancini, MSC Cruises’ director of family entertainment development, expressed enthusiasm about the ship’s offerings, stating, “On MSC World Asia, every experience has been designed to surprise, inspire, and spark imagination. We’ve pushed creativity to new limits, and we’re confident guests will leave genuinely amazed.”
Scheduled to embark on its inaugural cruise in December 2026, MSC World Asia will operate seven-night Mediterranean itineraries. It will visit several popular destinations, including Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia (the gateway to Rome), Naples, and Valletta, allowing passengers to explore some of the Mediterranean’s most sought-after locations.
Presently, MSC Cruises stands as the third-largest cruise brand globally, with a fleet of 25 contemporary ships traversing five continents and more than 300 destinations. The MSC World Asia is poised to become a cornerstone of their family-friendly offerings, reflecting the cruise line’s commitment to developing enriching experiences for all onboard.
