A four-year-old boy named Corey has been left without his parents following a devastating head-on collision that claimed the lives of Marryanne and Dylon Craig in Washington state. The incident occurred in the early hours of April 18, when a Cadillac attempting to overtake on Highway 2 collided head-on with a Dodge Dakota, resulting in three fatalities and one injury.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the 26-year-old driver of the Cadillac, Jose Hernandez Ibanez, died at the scene. Dylon and Marryanne Craig, both 33, were inside the Dodge Dakota and sustained fatal injuries. Although Corey was not in the vehicle during the crash, he has now been taken in by three of his grandparents, who are stepping in during this heartbreaking time.

In a poignant statement, Kathleen Cody, Dylon’s mother, spoke about the challenges faced by their family. She described the highway where the accident took place as notorious, stating, “It’s a horrible highway. So many people have complained about it. It’s going to be a hard highway for me to drive on ever again.”
