A well-known influencer from the UK, Gabrielle Carrington, better known by her online persona ‘RielleUK,’ has been charged with attempted murder after a serious incident outside a nightclub in London. The 29-year-old, who was a finalist on the X-Factor, now faces multiple allegations following a vehicle collision that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, April 19.

The Metropolitan Police reported that they received emergency calls around 4:30 a.m. regarding a car that had driven into pedestrians near the Inca nightclub in Soho. Two individuals sustained critical injuries during the incident; a man in his fifties, identified as Anoosh Chaichy, and a woman in her thirties named Klaudia Zakrzewska, known online as “Klaudiaglam.” Chaichy’s condition has been described as life-changing, while Zakrzewska remains in a life-threatening state, prompting widespread concerns about the implications of such reckless behaviour.
Chaichy, a 56-year-old security guard and fitness enthusiast from north London, was reportedly trying to relocate his electric scooter next to Zakrzewska when he was struck by Carrington’s vehicle. Various reports confirm that he has been active on social media, often posting about his workouts and his role in security across the city.
On the day following the incident, Carrington was brought before Westminster Magistrates’ Court, where she was charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, and several other serious offences including dangerous driving and drink driving. During her appearance, she was observed making a heart gesture towards her family, but opted not to enter a plea.
Prosecutor Rizwan Amin outlined the sequence of events that led to the tragic incident. He mentioned that Carrington had arrived at Argyll Street in her car, and shortly after exiting, she became involved in an altercation with a male. This situation escalated and attracted the attention of security personnel who attempted to de-escalate the argument.
According to Amin, the prosecutor’s claims indicate that Carrington re-entered her vehicle following this confrontation and then allegedly drove off aggressively, mounting a pavement in the process. This reckless manoeuvre resulted in her striking both Zakrzewska and Chaichy, causing each of them significant injuries. Zakrzewska was reportedly knocked to the ground and dragged beneath the vehicle, while Chaichy experienced a fractured scaphoid bone during the collision.
The third victim, a woman also in her thirties, was treated for less severe injuries. In total, Carrington faces a range of charges for her actions that night, including grievous bodily harm concerning Chaichy and assault against the third victim.
Further complicating matters, it was reported that Carrington had a blood alcohol level nearly double the legal driving limit at the time of her arrest. Specifically, she recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.0061% when breathalysed, raising concerns about her fitness to drive.
District Judge Nina Tempia has since remanded Carrington in custody until her next court appearance scheduled for May 19 at the Old Bailey. This decision came amid heightened public curiosity regarding the case and the potential implications for the influencer community at large.
The Metropolitan Police have not issued further comments as investigations continue. Following this grave incident, questions linger regarding the responsibilities of public figures and their behaviour, particularly in scenarios involving alcohol and public safety.
