Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is set to introduce a new candle collection under her lifestyle brand, As ever, just in time for Mother’s Day. This collection features two signature candles, each priced at £56, inspired by her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The launch is scheduled for April 22.

Markle’s latest offering is a heartfelt tribute to her family, a reflection of her personal journey since becoming a mother. The duo of candles marks a departure from previous releases that referenced significant milestones in Meghan and Prince Harry’s lives, such as Meghan’s own birthday and their royal wedding. This marks the first instance where the products are inspired directly by the couple’s children.

In official communications and product descriptions, Markle refers to her children by their full royal titles. The first candle, Signature Candle No. 506, is themed around Archie’s birthday on May 6, described as “Prince Archie of Sussex’s Birthdate.” The candle is crafted to evoke a warm and comforting atmosphere, featuring notes of ginger, neroli, and cashmere — subtly hinting at the prince’s distinctive red hair. The release notes specify, “This candle is inspired by Meghan’s son, Prince Archie.”
The second candle, Signature Candle No. 604, represents Lilibet’s birthday on June 4 and is described as “Princess Lilibet of Sussex’s Birthdate.” With a light, floral fragrance, it intends to infuse a sense of brightness and openness into any space, composed of notes like amber, water lily, and santal that nod to her name. The description reiterates that it draws inspiration from Meghan’s daughter, Princess Lilibet.
In addition to the candles, the upcoming Mother’s Day collection offers three bundle options, including a premium £156 set that pairs the candles with a new chocolate line from Compartés, headquartered in Los Angeles. This bundle combines the chocolate with bespoke matchboxes, further enhancing the gift-giving experience.
The launch of As ever as a lifestyle brand occurred in February 2025, and within its first year, the range has expanded to include an array of products such as jams, baking mixes, flower sprinkles, teas, wines, and candles. The brand’s offerings reflect Meghan’s commitment to creating a personal connection with her audience through thoughtful and meaningful products.
Archie and Lilibet were initially introduced to the world as “Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor” and “Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.” However, upon King Charles’s ascension to the throne in 2022, the children were granted the titles of prince and princess. They currently use “Sussex” as their last name, aligning with the tradition within the royal family, where Harry was known as “Harry Wales” in his youth.
The significance of the Sussex name culminates in Meghan’s personal reflections, where she shared her emotional connection to it during a March 2026 interview. She remarked, “It’s our shared name as a family,” expressing how the name has become increasingly meaningful since having children. This sentiment reinforces the bond the family shares and the legacy they aim to establish.
In a previous episode of her Netflix show, *With Love, Meghan*, the subject of her surname arose when a friend referred to her as “Meghan Markle.” Meghan used the opportunity to emphasize her transition, stating that she now identifies as “Meghan Sussex,” and elaborated on how sharing a family name deepens her familial connection.
Recently, Meghan and Harry completed a busy tour in Australia, which included a blend of public and private engagements focused on mental health, community resilience, and supporting veterans and their families. Their visit drew attention as it was their first trip to Australia since 2018, when they announced their first pregnancy.
The collection’s launch not only serves as a celebration of Mother’s Day but also strengthens Meghan’s narrative of family and motherhood through a product line that connects deeply with her personal life. With these new candle offerings, she continues to evolve her brand while honouring her cherished roles as a mother and a member of the royal family.
