A shooting incident at a vocational high school in Turkey has left at least 16 individuals injured, including ten students and four teachers. The event occurred on the morning of Tuesday, April 14, at the Ahmet Koyuncu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, located in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa.

The alleged perpetrator has been identified as a 19-year-old former student, who had been expelled from the school but was still engaged in distance learning. This individual reportedly opened fire with a pump-action shotgun before turning the weapon on himself. Local governor Hasan Şıldak, along with the Ministry of Interior, confirmed that the shooter died at the scene.
