The lawsuit claims that the painter, Andrew Jackson, sustained serious injuries while working at one of Belichick’s properties on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts.

Jackson seeks nearly £300,000 in damages, asserting that he fell at the coach’s residence in June 2024. His complaint, lodged in Nantucket Superior Court, contends that the injuries he suffered were the direct result of unsafe conditions on the property. According to the allegations, Jackson’s injuries included a severe ankle injury, along with pain, medical expenses, and lost wages. The complaint also highlights additional damages, stating that Jackson continues to endure physical pain, emotional distress, and a marked decline in his quality of life as a result of the incident.

The crux of Jackson’s complaint revolves around the assertion that Belichick’s property was fraught with hazardous conditions. Specifically, the lawsuit points to “the placement, use, and/or maintenance of plastic sheeting or coverings” among other unsafe practices in the work area where Jackson was employed. This claim establishes a connection between the working conditions at the property and the injuries sustained by the painter.

In terms of financial specifics, Jackson is pursuing a total of £285,436.39 in damages, reflecting not only his medical costs but also compensation for lost earning potential and ongoing distress.
