A woman was taken to hospital in Boston after being stung by a scorpion while collecting her luggage at the airport. According to a statement from Massachusetts State Police (MSP), the incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. local time on Sunday, March 2, in the baggage claim area of U.S. Customs at Logan Airport.

The 40-year-old woman, who remains unidentified, had just returned from Mexico when she was stung by the arachnid. Although her injuries were described as not life-threatening, Boston EMS transported her to a nearby hospital for treatment. The scorpion, which stung her, has not been seen since the incident.
