In a harrowing incident during their 10-year anniversary trip, influencer Kristin Gallant revealed that her husband, Tyler, was left hospitalised after suffering serious injuries. A parenting coach and co-founder of Big Little Feelings, Kristin has been sharing updates on social media, delving into the terrifying experience that unfolded unexpectedly.

On March 31, Kristin detailed the alarming events that led to Tyler being admitted to the Emergency Room at Desert Regional Medical Center. In an emotional Instagram post, she described the day as “one of the longest, scariest of [her] life,” as she grappled with uncertainty regarding her husband’s condition. “Not quite the ending to our 10-year anniversary trip that we had in mind,” she lamented.

The series of images posted alongside her caption depicted the couple’s distressing ordeal. One showed Kristin affectionately embracing Tyler in his hospital bed, where he was dressed in a medical gown and sporting bandages following blood tests and an electrode patch. Another photo showcased their hands, revealing his scrapes and wounds, while the carousel concluded with a worrying selfie of Tyler, whose injuries included a noticeable gash on his cheek.

Amid the alarming scenes, Kristin was keen to clarify misconceptions surrounding the nature of Tyler’s injuries. She addressed concerns on both Instagram Stories and post comments, explaining that he had not been assaulted or mugged. Instead, Tyler was discovered bleeding from his head after likely passing out or experiencing a seizure outside their hotel. Expressing gratitude to her followers for their support, she detailed the extent of his injuries, stating that he had hit his head “extremely hard” on a metal planter, subsequently resulting in his scraped body as he crawled along the ground.

Despite the initial chaos, Kristin reassured her audience that Tyler was conscious, responsive, and even attempting to inject humour into the tense situation. “If you think this is bad, you shoulda seen him when he was brought in. It. Was. Traumatizing,” she recalled, sharing a more uplifting image of Tyler striking a playful pose in his hospital bed.

Life took a more hopeful turn as the couple seemed to regain normalcy following a series of tests. Kristin informed her followers that Tyler was awake, joking, and able to stand, with a CT scan that showed no significant abnormalities. On April 1, Kristina announced that after an anxious wait, their ordeal was coming to a close, as Tyler was officially discharged from the hospital.

In a heartwarming update, Kristin expressed her relief, stating that all tests had returned normal results. “He’s walking out (okay, rolling out) of the hospital his wonderful normal self, albeit with some scrapes, stitches and scratches,” she quipped, highlighting the relief of returning home after their frightening experience.

Kristin took a moment to acknowledge the medical staff who had assisted them during the incident, referring to them as “angels on earth.” She also extended her gratitude to their nanny, who had extended her stay beyond the usual, ensuring that their children were well cared for, even making bunny pancakes in the process.

As they returned home, Kristin concluded by sharing her determination to keep a close eye on Tyler, vowing that he would no longer be allowed to run errands alone. “Now, we head home to squeeze our babes and for me to literally never let him out of my sight again,” she emphasised, highlighting her newfound vigilance.
