In a recent interview on “Today with Jenna & Sheinelle,” Cardi B provided an update on her previously discussed plans for a butt reduction procedure. The 33-year-old rapper, who is presently balancing the demands of her Little Miss Drama Tour and motherhood, has decided to abandon plans for the surgery due to her hectic schedule.

Cardi, whose full name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, had previously indicated a desire to undergo the procedure, even mentioning a trip to Colombia to reduce the size of her famous backside. However, during her appearance on the daytime show on March 24, she confirmed, “Oh yeah, yeah, I was saying that, but I’m not gonna do it. I was just gonna take a little bit of butt out, but I don’t have time for that.”

Since the arrival of her fourth child, a son whom she shares with NFL player Stefon Diggs, Cardi has embraced her body and all its imperfections. Reflecting on her current body image, she stated, “I feel really comfortable where I’m at right now… I do have a whole bunch of cellulite because I don’t know if it’s the age or I don’t know if it’s the fact that I have four kids, but I feel really good.” Cardi added, “It looks so perfect, it does, but it’s not. But it’s okay. I’m loving my imperfections and everything, and I just feel really comfortable.”

In the past, Cardi has openly discussed the physical changes that come with motherhood and regarded them as part of her journey. In an earlier conversation with Khelani, she indicated her intentions to make alterations to her physique, saying, “After this tour, I don’t wanna hear nobody for three months. I’m going to Colombia. Nobody hit me up. Nobody, nothing. I’m taking this ass out!” This statement highlights her commitment to her personal decisions, although her recent comments reflect a significant shift in perspective.
Cardi’s family life is particularly busy, as she juggles her roles as a mother to four children: daughter Kulture, aged 7, son Wave, 4, and daughter Blossom, 1, from her previous relationship with Offset, as well as her baby boy with Diggs, born in November 2025. Cardi expressed how quickly time has passed since her most recent pregnancy, noting, “I feel like I almost had a baby a year ago, and sometimes I go, ‘Wait, I just had a baby four months ago!’ because I have done so much.”
In addition to her motherhood journey, Cardi’s romantic relationship with Stefon Diggs has also seen its ups and downs. The couple stepped back from their romance in February following the NFL Super Bowl, where Diggs’ team, the New England Patriots, faced defeat against the Seattle Seahawks. According to sources, the decision to distance themselves was influenced by growing complications in their relationship, with Cardi prioritising her children, music, and tour commitments.
Despite their temporary separation, it seems Cardi and Diggs are still committed to co-parenting their young son. Sources indicate that while the pair has taken a step back from their romantic involvement, the possibility of rekindling their relationship in the future remains open.
As Cardi B continues to navigate the complexities of fame, motherhood, and relationships, her recent revelations reflect a growing confidence in embracing her authentic self. By prioritising her mental well-being and family, the artist is setting an example for her fans to embrace their own imperfections and focus on what truly matters in life.
