These assertions, detailed in the report released on March 17, drew immediate rebuttals from the couple’s representative.

Michael J. Kump, the attorney for the Sussexes, labelled the claims “categorically false,” asserting that they seem designed to reinforce negative stereotypes about Meghan’s relationship with her husband. He described the portrayal of Meghan as “bossing her husband around” as a reflection of broader societal misogyny, an interpretation he categorically rejected.
