A children’s party DJ in California, identified as 32-year-old Glenn Canyon Childers, faces serious legal charges, including rape and possession of child pornography. Childers was arrested on February 24, following allegations that he sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl who was under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident. The Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDAO) has described these allegations as deeply concerning and emphasizes the importance of addressing such offences.

The authorities were alerted to the situation on August 31, 2025, and Childers was subsequently apprehended at his home in Los Alamitos. Following his arrest, he was taken to Orange County Jail, where he was later released after posting a bond of $100,000. His arraignment is scheduled for March 26 at the Stephen K. Tamura West Justice Center in Westminster.
Charged with multiple felonies, Childers faces one count of rape of an unconscious person, another count of rape by use of drugs, as well as one count of possession of child pornography. Additionally, he has been charged with seven misdemeanor counts related to the possession of controlled substances. The victim in this case has not been publicly identified.
Los Alamitos Police Chief Michael Claborn expressed his dedication to protecting vulnerable members of the community. He commended the efforts of detectives involved in the case, stating, “I am incredibly proud of the diligent work our detectives have done to move this case forward. We urge anyone who may have been impacted to come forward — your voice matters, and you will be heard and supported.”
If convicted, Childers could face a maximum of eight years and eight months in prison, along with an additional year in the county jail. These potential consequences underscore the seriousness of the charges against him.
Following the announcement of the arrest, the OCDAO has encouraged other potential victims to speak out. Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer remarked, “The trauma endured by victims of sexual assault is a sentence that they can never escape. Crimes of sexual violence will never be tolerated…and those individuals who prey on children for their own sexual gratification will be identified, arrested, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
