Khloé Kardashian Reveals Her Kids Don’t Have Access to the Internet, Shares When Daughter True, 7, May Get Her First Phone

In a recent episode of her podcast, “Khloé In Wonder Land,” reality television star Khloé Kardashian discussed her cautious approach to introducing her children to the online world. The 41-year-old mother of two emphasised her desire to protect her kids, Tatum, aged three, and True, who is seven, from the potential pitfalls of social media and internet exposure.

Kardashian, who shares her children with former partner Tristan Thompson, highlighted that while her kids are accustomed to the presence of paparazzi, they remain largely unaware of social media and its implications. “They don’t have social media. They don’t have the Internet in any way,” she stated, noting that her children have no access to search engines like Google. “It’s just a different world. I don’t know how to explain it really,” she added, indicating the unfamiliarity her children have with online platforms.

The reality star described how her daughter True often expresses a desire to create content, saying, “My daughter will be like, ‘I want to film a TikTok.’” However, Kardashian clarified that her children do not actually understand what TikTok is, merely associating it with recording dance videos. “They think that means a dancing video, and so we’ll just film dancing and that’s them dancing on my tables and just having fun,” she explained, revealing her efforts to keep her kids insulated from social media trends.

Kardashian’s podcast also touched on the future potential of her daughter receiving a mobile phone. She shared her thoughts on gifting True a phone for her upcoming golden birthday—when she turns twelve on April 12, 2030. However, Kardashian is firm in her belief that such a gift will not automatically include access to social media. “That doesn’t mean she’ll get social media,” she clarified. “I don’t think kids should have social media until, I mean, I would love 16 or 17, but a phone we’re discussing on her 12th birthday.”

As a mother, Kardashian is committed to playing an active and engaged role in her children’s lives.
