Real Housewives of Potomac star, Karen Huger, has been handed a two-year prison sentence, with one year suspended, for an incident of drunk driving. The 61-year-old reality TV personality appeared in a Montgomery County Circuit Court on Wednesday, Feb. 26, accompanied by her husband of 28 years, Ray, to receive her verdict. The judge also ordered Huger to serve five years probation, with a 30-day window to appeal the decision and 90 days to request a reconsideration. Despite the sentencing, Huger maintained her composure and reassured her husband, “You will be alright,” and expressed faith in divine intervention by saying, “God’s got you,” according to a source at the scene as reported by PEOPLE.
In March 2024, Huger was arrested following a single-vehicle crash near her residence, where she collided with a street sign.
