Michael Lohan, father of renowned actress Lindsay Lohan, finds himself in trouble as he gets arrested for a domestic violence charge in Texas. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that Michael’s estranged wife, Kate Major, spotted him in the parking lot of a building while she was at a medical appointment on Friday, Feb. 21. Concerned about being followed, Kate called 911. She informed deputies that Michael had allegedly flipped her out of a chair at their residence a few days prior, and visible bruising on her body was confirmed by a female deputy.

Authorities acted swiftly and arrested Michael at his residence the same day, without any incident. He is currently being held on a charge of Continuous Family Violence with a $30,000 bond, as per the HCSO. This is not the first time Michael has faced such accusations. In 2020, he was arrested for allegedly assaulting Kate in Southhampton, N.Y., where he was reported to have been verbally and physically abusive.
