In the living room, Keaton replaced an existing fireplace with a simple arched brick Spanish fireplace, a design element she replicated in the bedroom and kitchen. Keaton’s attention to lighting and shadows played a crucial role in the overall ambiance of the home. She believed that lighting could bring a space to life and often joked about being in the business of lighting due to her profound interest in the subject.
