Savannah Chrisley, former star of the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best,” has revealed that she discreetly wedded businessman Jason Galanis in July while expecting their first child together. Their intimate ceremony took place in the picturesque location of the Cayman Islands, according to Chrisley’s recent discussions on the debut episode of Golden Tate’s YouTube show, “The Golden Ticket,” published on 1 November.

The couple, who have kept their relationship largely under wraps, opted for a private wedding. Chrisley, 29, explained that they chose not to file their marriage documents in the United States to prevent the details from becoming public record. She stated, “I’m not public about anything. We ended up getting married in the Cayman Islands in July. So we did everything there, but we haven’t filed [in the U.S.] because then it will be public record, right?”

Savannah has indicated that the couple intends to hold a more substantial celebration for family and friends next year. Initially, their wedding was scheduled for January, but plans have changed due to Chrisley’s pregnancy. “The wedding is in May. I have a real-life wedding crasher,” she joked, gesturing to her growing baby bump.
This marks the first occasion that Chrisley has publicly discussed her marriage to Galanis, who is 56 years old. Their union was confirmed by marriage records obtained by PEOPLE, revealing that they were married on 14 July at the Cayman Islands Baptist Church, after dating for approximately a year. The couple had announced their engagement during a trip to the same destination in December.
On 27 October, when Chrisley revealed her pregnancy and engaged status, she did not initially disclose that they had already tied the knot, and referred to Galanis only as “J.” In an emotional message on Instagram, Savannah expressed her joy, stating, “For the first time in a long time, I feel safe. I feel fulfilled. I can finally exhale. I found my forever in you,” she wrote. She further shared her excitement about their future child, saying, “And just when I thought my heart couldn’t hold any more love, God gave us our sweetest blessing yet… we’re having a BABY!”
Addressing some of the potential backlash following her announcement, Chrisley took to her Instagram Stories on 31 October to encourage patience and understanding from the public. “People can be quick to judge, quick to condemn and slow to show grace,” she remarked. “But as I sit here looking out at God’s beautiful creation, I’m reminded of something so much greater than the noise around me. The world may try to steal your peace, but it can never take away what God has promised you.”
The family dynamic has also drawn attention, particularly from Chrisley’s father, Todd Chrisley, who expressed his support for his daughter’s relationship during an appearance on Bunnie Xo’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast. Praising Galanis, Todd stated, “He’s brilliant,” adding that Savannah is now both emotionally and financially secure. “She was good on her own, not like she is today,” he remarked, showing his approval of their partnership.
As Savannah Chrisley navigates this new chapter of her life, with marriage and motherhood on the horizon, fans and followers are eager to see how her journey unfolds. The couple’s commitment to privacy thus far suggests they may continue to keep certain elements of their lives away from the public eye for the time being. The upcoming planned celebrations could offer a chance for the couple to share their happiness with loved ones, however, the focus remains on enjoying this special time in their lives.
