Armstrong was reportedly seen exiting a DART train at approximately 8:43 p.m. alongside another individual, believed to be a juvenile. Subsequent reports indicate she was also spotted on foot in the vicinity of Whistle Stop Place shortly before 10:10 p.m. that evening.

Described as standing 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing around 135 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes, Armstrong is known to have autism and was experiencing anxiety related to school prior to her disappearance. Her mother, Megan Bernhardt, expressed great concern, stating that Armstrong left without any personal belongings, including a phone or money.

“We have not had any contact with her since she left on Wednesday night,” Bernhardt revealed. “She ran out with nothing.” This lack of communication has raised alarm, especially since Armstrong is familiar with her mother’s phone number, which adds to the family’s distress.
At the time she went missing, Armstrong was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and white shoes. The Dallas Police Department (DPD) has indicated that they believe she may require assistance, prompting them to issue appeals for information from the public. Bernhardt has urged local teenagers to be vigilant and to report any possible sightings or interactions with her daughter.
In their search efforts, the family has concentrated on the Grapevine area, where there have been reports of potential sightings. Bernhardt reached out directly to her daughter during a recent interview, saying, “Natalie, we’re so worried, and we love you so much. We just want you to come home, and we want everything to be okay. You’re not in trouble; we just need you to come home.”
Local volunteer Alfonso Solis, who has experience in tracking missing persons, has also appealed for public assistance in the search. He emphasised the importance of checking personal properties, stating, “If you have a yard and you have a shed, just check your shed. If you live in an apartment, check your common areas, gyms, clubhouses.” He noted that Natalie is likely on foot, as she is familiar with the DART rail system, which increases the potential range of where she could be.
Despite the challenges posed by her vulnerabilities, the community support and search efforts remain strong, as her family and volunteers try to piece together her whereabouts. Anyone with information about Natalie Armstrong is urged to contact the Dallas Police Department at 9-1-1 or 214-671-4268, referencing case number 155505-2026.
As the days go by without contact, both police authorities and her family hope for her safe return, with renewed calls for public vigilance in the search for the missing teenager.
