Jonvic Remulla confirmed through an interview that local authorities are examining digital evidence from a laptop that was seized during the investigation. Remulla stated, “In these cases where family disputes are mixed up, we have to consider all the angles. Right now, all signs point to a possible sex offender of the grossest kind. We want to be sure before we release the findings.” He requested a week to complete their forensic analysis before issuing a detailed statement.

As Thomas Markle Sr. remains at a rehabilitation centre in Florida, he brushed off the allegations as “sick” and a “bunch of lies,” expressing bewilderment over his son’s drastic claims. Despite his assertions of innocence, the seriousness of the accusations has sharply escalated the public scrutiny surrounding him.

In a statement issued to media outlets, the Philippine National Police (PNP) confirmed that they have secured a warrant and are inspecting the digital materials found in the investigation.
