Jane Leeves, best known for her portrayal of Daphne Moon in the iconic sitcom *Frasier*, is celebrating a significant milestone this year, marking 30 years of marriage to her husband, Marshall Coben. The couple tied the knot in 1996, and Leeves recently took the opportunity to reminisce about their wedding journey during an appearance on *Live with Kelly & Mark*.

Reflecting on their unique wedding experience, Leeves revealed that they opted for a double ceremony to honour their ties to both the United Kingdom and the United States. This decision was not without its challenges, as she mentioned facing health issues during both events.

“Both were very unsuccessful,” Leeves recalled humorously, noting that she contracted the flu just before their weddings. “He had to drag me out of bed because I had to get married in the States since it wouldn’t have been legal otherwise. My heart was set on a wedding in England.”
The dual ceremonies included their official wedding in the US, followed by a church blessing in a quaint village in England. Unfortunately, her illness prevented her from fully enjoying either occasion. “I didn’t make it through either ceremony very well,” she stated. Nevertheless, Leeves was quick to point out, “But we are married. 30 years this year!”
Jane Leeves’ journey with Coben began at a Paramount Christmas party, which she described as significant in more ways than one. Coben, a television executive and producer at Paramount, was in attendance, and it was during this festive gathering that their paths crossed.
Leeves recounted the serendipitous moment: “Someone came up to me and asked if I remembered them from a blind date several years back. Although that blind date didn’t go well, that person introduced me to Marshall, and the rest is history.”
After their marriage, the couple expanded their family, welcoming two children into the world. Their daughter, Isabella Kathryn, is now 25 years old, while their son, Finn William, is 22. Leeves has always been open about the joys and challenges of balancing her career in entertainment with motherhood.
Throughout her career, Leeves has enjoyed significant success in television, earning recognition and accolades for her work on *Frasier* and other projects. Fans of the show will remember her character’s endearing quirks and the chemistry she shared with her fellow cast members.
As she celebrates three decades of marriage, Leeves continues to exude gratitude for her husband and the life they have built together. The couple’s ability to navigate the complexities of love, work, and family offers inspiration to many.
In sharing her story, Leeves highlights not only the importance of love and commitment but also the unpredictability of life. The unexpected challenges they faced during their weddings only serve to underscore the resilience of their relationship.
As the couple commemorates their 30th anniversary, there’s a sense of joy and nostalgia, reflecting on how far they’ve come together. With their family growing and their love enduring, Jane Leeves and Marshall Coben have created a life rich in experiences and cherished memories.
