Allison Holker, the professional dancer known for her appearances on *So You Think You Can Dance*, is finding meaningful ways to keep the memory of her late husband, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, alive for their children. Holker, who is a mother to daughters Weslie, 18, and Zaia, 5, along with son Maddox, 10, recently opened up about how her family honours Boss in their daily lives.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the Dancers Against Cancer Industry Dance Awards on 21 October, Holker shared insights into her family’s cherished traditions. “Me and my children do so many things. It’s down to the things that we even eat that are things that were his favourite,” she explained. “That’s the way we always do it, just by our food and our memories and talking about them.”
Holker described how her children express their love for their late father through personal items. “Whenever my son has a tough day, I have a gold chain necklace that belonged to his dad, and I put it on him,” she noted. This gesture is part of their family photos, allowing Boss to remain a part of their memories. His daughters also feel connected to their father by wearing his clothing, emphasising the family’s commitment to remembering him fondly.
The couple first crossed paths in 2010 while participating in the reality dance competition show, and by 2013, they had tied the knot. Boss, who was adored by many, adopted Weslie and welcomed Maddox and Zaia into their family. In a previous interview, Holker reflected on the support that she and her children provide for each other following Boss’s untimely passing in December 2022 at the age of 40.
Holker expressed her desire to be a pillar of strength for her kids, stating, “I always want to make sure that they see me really strong for them, but it’s been amazing to see that my kids are also there for me now.” She also mentioned that the children often talk to their father, believing he watches over them from the stars. “I’ve told them if they ever need him, he’s always listening. He’s guiding and he’s protecting. We still feel his presence with us,” she added.
In a heartfelt tribute on the third anniversary of his death, Holker shared an emotional post on Instagram filled with joyful dance memories and family moments. “Today is the 3 year Stephen tWitch Boss anniversary day 12/13/2022. We honour you and cherish all of our beautiful memories with you. We loved laughing, creating and dancing. We will love you forever,” she wrote alongside a carousel of photos.
She also took a moment to extend her gratitude to fans for their continued support during such a challenging time. “Saw some beautiful posts yesterday as we lead up to the day. Thank you for your endless love and support. It means the world to me and my kids,” she remarked, showcasing the importance of community in their healing journey.
On what would have been Boss’s 43rd birthday in September 2025, Holker shared another emotional message on social media. Accompanied by family photos, she wrote, “Happy heavenly birthday Stephen. We love you and still feel all your love. We celebrated by doing some of your favourite things.” This included activities such as Korean BBQ, visiting a comic book store, and indulging in cookies and cream—a heartfelt nod to Boss’s favourite pastimes.
Through these actions, Holker and her children manage to create a vibrant and loving atmosphere, full of shared memories and a deep sense of connection to their beloved husband and father. The ways they honour Boss not only highlight the importance of family bonds but also illustrate the profound impact he had on their lives.
As they navigate life without him, Holker’s strength and devotion to keeping her husband’s spirit alive serves as an inspiring reminder of love and memory during times of loss.
