He recalled that the twins had requested him to procure some medication for them, during a conversation dated either 13 or 14 October.

Reflecting on the emotional toll of the situation, Damián revealed that their parents are currently “devastated” by the unforeseen loss of their sons. He struggled to articulate the depth of their grief, stating, “I have no words to describe how my parents feel.”

In a painful turn of events, a close friend of the twins, Fernando Carrillo, provided more details surrounding their deaths. He revealed that José Luis had suffered a cardiac arrest, leading to their hospitalisation. Although he was stabilised, tragedy struck when José Armando suffered a heart attack shortly thereafter, which ultimately resulted in both brothers’ passing.
The Instagram post following their deaths expressed gratitude towards the fans and supporters who had stood by the twins throughout their journey. The message read, “We sincerely thank everyone who supported them, believed in them, and was part of every achievement.” It went on to acknowledge the immense impact their followers had on fulfilling the brothers’ dreams.
The statement concluded with a powerful reflection on the twins’ legacy: “Their legacy will live on in a phrase that always represented them: ‘Where there’s a will, there’s a way, and disability is no impediment to being happy.’”
