Raven-Symoné is set to reprise her role as a guest co-host on the popular daytime talk show *The View* for two episodes on 15th and 16th October. This return comes at a significant time as the programme commemorates its landmark 30th season. The news has been confirmed exclusively by PEOPLE.

The actress, who first joined *The View* as a regular panellist in June 2015 and remained until 2016, will be joining fellow co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin at the show’s Hot Topics table. Fans can also look forward to an appearance by Raven alongside her wife, Miranda Maday, on the *Behind the Table* podcast on Thursday, which is a companion show to the series and hosted by executive producer Brian Teta.

Raven-Symoné’s return to *The View* is part of a broader celebration of its 30th anniversary. The show has welcomed back several former co-hosts, such as Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, Lisa Ling, and Sherri Shepherd, who have contributed guest appearances since the new season launched in September.
Reflecting on her previous stint, Raven-Symoné shared her feelings about returning to the show. During an October 2024 appearance on *Sherri*, she humourously remarked about the challenges of speaking in a live television environment. “My biggest takeaway from working on *The View* was learning to shut the hell up,” she joked, but acknowledged the important lessons she learned about communicating effectively with an audience.
Her time on *The View* was often marked by lively debates and some controversy, with Raven-Symoné making headlines for her opinions during the show’s Hot Topics segments. Looking back, she noted, “When I started the show, I thought I was just chatting with friends. By the time I left, I realised it was a live television show with millions watching, not just a casual conversation.”
Despite her excitement about returning, Raven also admitted feeling a bit anxious about stepping back into the studio. “Every time I come here, I get nervous and have to arrive early just to say hi to everyone,” she said. Her light-hearted demeanor was evident as she added, “And now I have PTSD—please don’t ask me any questions!”
The timing of Raven-Symoné’s reunion is particularly poignant as the show continues to navigate Joy Behar’s absence due to a shoulder injury. Behar, a long-time co-host, has been on medical leave since early October and provided an update during a recent episode. Expressing gratitude for the support from viewers, she quipped, “If I was still 21, I’d have bounced back the next day, but since I’m an old bat, recuperating takes longer.” Behar anticipates her return to the show, aiming to share the details of her recovery with the audience.
The sense of camaraderie among the co-hosts was further highlighted when Goldberg provided an update on Behar’s condition while keeping the mood light. “Get better fast so we can celebrate you back here on *The View*,” she said, after reading a humorous message from Behar that likened her absence during her birthday to sharing a celebration with Vladimir Putin.
The much-loved daytime show continues to bring engaging conversations and laughter to its audience, and with Raven-Symoné returning as a guest co-host, viewers are eagerly anticipating her insights and unique contributions. The 30th season of *The View* is already proving to be a memorable one, filled with nostalgia, laughter, and heartfelt moments.
The episodes featuring Raven-Symoné are scheduled to air on weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC. As she reconnects with her former colleagues and the audience, her return is sure to add a fresh dynamic to the celebrated talk show.
