Tom Sandoval, a prominent figure known for his role in the reality television series “Vanderpump Rules,” has recently been granted a two-year restraining order against his ex-girlfriend, Victoria Robinson. This decision was made on October 1 and is set to remain in effect until October 1, 2028.

The restraining order was reached following a mutual agreement between Sandoval and Robinson, who opted to forgo a contested evidentiary hearing. As part of the stipulations, Robinson is required to vacate Sandoval’s Los Angeles home and has been prohibited from any form of contact with him, whether direct or indirect. The order also mandates that she maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from Sandoval, and if they find themselves at the same event, Robinson must leave immediately. Additionally, she has been barred from possessing any firearms or ammunition for the duration of the order.
Sandoval’s initial plea for protective measures emerged on June 25, a few months prior to the recent ruling. The allegations were rooted in an incident that allegedly occurred on June 3, when the couple returned home from a night out. According to court documents, tensions escalated after they discovered Robinson’s father, Will Robinson, intoxicated at their home.

During a confrontation, Sandoval claimed that Victoria was secretly recording him with her phone, prompting him to reach for the device. In his declaration, Sandoval stated that Will Robinson subsequently “lunged” at him, leading to a physical altercation in which he felt compelled to push Will away to protect himself. Sandoval described feeling “trapped and violated” during the incident.
Furthermore, Sandoval alleged that Victoria struck him in the face with significant force, resulting in blurred vision and lasting pain. Following the altercation, law enforcement officers were summoned to the scene, leading to Victoria’s arrest on charges of intimate partner battery involving physical violence. She was released on bail later that same day.
In the ensuing legal exchanges, Victoria Robinson sought a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Sandoval, which was denied just a few days later. During her filing, she detailed the events of June 3, asserting that Sandoval had exhibited erratic behaviour and attacked her after discovering she was recording their argument. Footage from the incident allegedly shows a physical altercation between Sandoval and Will, where Will is seen grabbing Sandoval before being pushed away.
Amidst these accusations, a representative for Sandoval claimed that he was never physically aggressive towards Victoria throughout their two-and-a-half-year relationship. They argued that he lived in fear of her unpredictable and aggressive conduct. A statement read, “He will show he was the victim of ongoing physical and emotional abuse, and has substantial evidence documenting what he endured, which will be presented through the legal process.”
In a subsequent filing in August, Sandoval expanded on his allegations, detailing further instances of what he claimed were a pattern of abusive behaviour from Robinson. He recounted an incident from 2015 during a band tour stop in Florida, during which he alleged that Victoria had kicked him in the groin while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Sandoval suggested that her behaviour had raised concerns at multiple venues due to her alleged substance use.
Robinson has vigorously denied these claims, stating, “I did not kick Tom, and I did not touch him.” She reminisced about a time when she felt unwell and requested his assistance, which he allegedly neglected. Her legal representation characterised the timing of Sandoval’s allegations as suspicious, questioning the motives behind his claims shortly before a court hearing.
Cory Weck, who represents Robinson, expressed reservations about the suddenness of the allegations, emphasising that similar narratives often emerge in personal injury cases. He anticipates a thorough examination of the facts in court to provide clarity to the unfolding situation.
As developments continue, both parties are navigating the complexities of their respective claims and the implications of the legal proceedings surrounding them. Domestic violence is a pressing issue, and resources are available for anyone needing assistance. If you or someone you know is experiencing such violence, the National Domestic Violence Hotline provides support around the clock.
