Authorities in Alabama have confirmed the tragic discovery of the body of a 67-year-old woman, Linda May Krieger, who went missing while camping over the weekend. The Andalusia Police Department announced that her remains were located on Sunday, September 27, nearby the Oaks Campground, where she and her husband had been staying.

Krieger, who hailed from Fort Myers, Florida, was reported missing by her husband after he heard her leave their recreational vehicle (RV) at around 6:20 a.m. on Saturday, September 26.
