Seth and Tori Bolt, the founders of BOLT FARM in Tennessee, have joyfully welcomed their second child, a son named Tennessee Bank. The little one arrived on 16 September, ten days ahead of his expected due date, weighing 7 lbs and 5 oz, and measuring 19.25 inches in length. In a heartwarming exclusive interview, the couple shared their exciting news with *PEOPLE* magazine.

Tori, reflecting on her journey to motherhood, expressed immense gratitude after their experience with IVF. She described the moment she first held Tennessee as surreal. “After everything we went through, holding him for the first time felt like a dream come true,” she remarked. Tori practised Christian hypnobirthing throughout her pregnancy, describing the birth as an “empowering experience,” even though it wasn’t without discomfort.
Seth, who facilitated the birth alongside Tori, was similarly moved by the experience. He noted that Tori again chose an unmedicated birth, just like she had with their three-year-old daughter, Amma. “No epidurals, no interventions, just her faith and an incredible will,” he shared, praising Tori’s resilience. “She’s the strongest person I know, and I’m in awe of her.”
The couple tackled several unexpected challenges during the delivery, but Tori appreciated her supportive birthing team which included a doula, a midwife, and a nurse who assisted with mindset coaching. She described her labour, which lasted about six hours, as profound, allowing her to reach new levels of connection during the process. “I always thought water labour was overhyped until I experienced it myself. I would have delivered in that tub if the hospital allowed it,” Tori candidly shared.
Naming their child bore a significant personal meaning for them. Seth explained that the name Tennessee is derived from the Cherokee word “Tanasi,” meaning “where the waters meet,” symbolising their homeland and its connection to their family’s heritage. The middle name, Bank, was inspired by a song from Seth’s former band, NEEDTOBREATHE. “The name reflects our journey; it signifies a meeting place and a promise,” he elaborated. Interestingly, the couple settled on the middle name shortly before leaving the hospital, finalising their choice as they held their new son.
As the family of four adjusts to their new dynamic, Tori mentioned that Amma, who is excited about her new role, has taken to being a big sister with enthusiasm. “Amma is completely obsessed with him,” Seth stated, adding that she affectionately refers to Tennessee as “Tenn Penn.” He elaborated that she has shown a natural inclination towards caregiving, describing her as a “little mama.”
A treasured moment for Seth and Tori occurred soon after Tennessee’s birth while still in the hospital. With just the three of them in the room, they took time to embrace the joy of their new family member. “We were cuddled up in bed, in a candlelit room, just soaking it all in,” Tori explained, remarking on the sacred nature of that silence. “It was a precious time of reflection and thankfulness.”
One of the most touching instances was Amma’s first meeting with her younger brother. As she quietly entered the room and gently greeted Tennessee, Seth watched with tears in his eyes. “She sat down and I placed him on her lap. The delight on her face was indescribable,” he recalled. Both parents reflected on that moment as a culmination of their hopes and prayers, solidifying their family unit.
