Jinger Duggar Vuolo, known for her appearance on the reality show ‘Counting On’, recently addressed the possibility of expanding her family. The 32-year-old mother, who already has three children with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, shared her thoughts during a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories.

Jinger is currently a mother to son Finnegan, aged 17 months, and daughters Felicity, 7, and Evangeline, who is 4. During the question-and-answer session, one follower inquired whether the couple were considering having a fourth child. Jinger confidently responded with a clear “No,” indicating that they are focused on cherishing moments with their current brood. She accompanied this response with an endearing photo of her son Finnegan sitting by a fireplace adorned with autumn decorations.

Not only did this interaction give insight into their family planning, but it also highlighted Jinger’s openness regarding her personal struggles. In a previous Instagram Q&A, she discussed her experiences with body image issues during and after her pregnancies, which she admitted have posed considerable challenges for her.

Jinger expressed that the journey through pregnancy and postpartum was difficult, especially regarding her self-image. Nevertheless, she emphasised the joy of motherhood, stating that the arrival of her children outweighs any struggles she faced. “I would never trade it for the world because bringing these sweet babies into the world is always so worth it in the end,” she affirmed.
To cope with her body image concerns, Jinger has made it a priority to maintain a healthy lifestyle during her pregnancies, while also reminding herself to practice self-compassion. “I try to do my best to eat healthy during pregnancy when I can, but I’ve also learned to give myself grace during those seasons,” she explained.
In terms of maintaining her wellbeing postpartum, Jinger noted that engaging in physical activity helps her regain her sense of self. Simple exercises, like taking walks with her baby in a stroller, serve as important steps in her journey toward feeling stronger both physically and mentally.
Jinger further discussed her encounters with postpartum depression on an episode of The Jeremy & Jinger Podcast earlier this year. Reflecting on her experience following Evangeline’s birth, she revealed that the challenges of postpartum life were particularly difficult, compounded by her continued nursing. “I was in a dark hole and I didn’t know what to do,” she recounted, acknowledging the emotional toll it took on her.
Advice from friends led to her decision to stop nursing Evangeline, a change that Jinger credits with an immediate improvement in her mental health. She described the relief she felt as if it lifted a persistent cloud that had been hanging over her. Jeremy Vuolo also recognised the shift in Jinger’s mood once she ceased nursing, reflecting the dramatic impact that such personal decisions can have on wellbeing.
As Jinger and Jeremy navigate the rigours of parenthood, their focus remains firmly anchored in their current family dynamic. By sharing her experiences with her followers, Jinger not only gives a glimpse into her life but also opens up a conversation surrounding the often-overlooked aspects of motherhood, including mental health.
With an emphasis on loving and supporting her children, Jinger Duggar Vuolo is committed to creating a fulfilling life for her family while taking care of her personal health and happiness. For now, it appears their family will remain at three, as they continue to enjoy the journey with their little ones.
