He recalled, “We wanted to get it really right, but I don’t think we wanted to put too much pressure on it in that way. The film was shot in Montreal, a city known for its vibrant nightlife, and as Bateman observed, “Montreal doesn’t sleep.” He recounted a moment during filming a significant scene when he expected quiet streets at 3:00 a.m., only to discover that an array of passersby had turned the experience into a rather public affair. Reinhart chimed in with humour, “We were shooting weirdly in front of an open window, which was alarming. The passersby on the street probably got a free show that night!”
In preparation for the intimate moment, Bateman revealed that the team enlisted the help of an intimacy coordinator, treating the choreography of the scene like a dance. “Fans will be looking forward to this moment because it’s when these two characters finally come together,” he shared. Reinhart further praised Bateman’s contributions as a co-star, stating, “In terms of chemistry, I just think you either have it or you don’t.
