Dollywood has made a vibrant tribute to the legendary Dolly Parton by revealing a specially designed custom race car wrap, set to feature prominently at the ARCA Menards East Series finale in Tennessee. The unveiling took place on September 15, leading up to the final race event, known as the Bush’s Best 200, which will occur at the Bristol Motor Speedway on September 17. This initiative reflects Dollywood’s ongoing sponsorship of the series’ driver, Quinn Davis, and her car, City Garage Motorsport’s No. 85.

Quinn Davis, a 17-year-old from Tucson, Arizona, expressed her deep admiration for Parton and her desire to honour her legacy while racing. The race car wrap prominently displays an image of the country music icon, complete with her signature and the title of her renowned song “I Will Always Love You,” all inscribed in elegant pink cursive. The car is adorned with Parton’s iconic butterflies on both sides, while a striking Dollywood logo features on the rear quarter panels, solidifying the connection between the driver and the theme park.
Davis will also don a custom firesuit inspired by Dollywood’s branding, showcasing the park’s logo across her chest and back. The suit will also feature some butterflies, echoing the designs on the car. After the race, the firesuit is set to be auctioned off, with all proceeds benefiting Parton’s Imagination Library, a philanthropic initiative that provides free books to children.
The announcement comes just weeks after the passing of Dolly Parton, who died on August 25 at the age of 80 following a brief battle with cancer. Davis, who had been a devoted fan of Dollywood since her childhood, reflected on the emotional significance of this tribute. Her family made it a tradition to visit the theme park during their summer road trips, a custom that she cherishes deeply.
After expressing her hopes for Dollywood to partner as a sponsor for her racing season, Davis noted how overwhelmed she felt when the park agreed. “I still get emotional thinking about Dollywood coming on board,” she shared. “I’ve faced countless rejections, but Dollywood said yes, and that means more to me than I can put into words.”
Davis hopes to carry the spirit of Parton and Dollywood with pride as she competes in the race. “I want to make the entire Dollywood family proud. A huge part of my heart isn’t just hoping to make them proud, but Dolly herself as well. I hope every time I climb into that race car carrying the Dollywood name, I can represent everything she stood for,” she remarked, stressing the honour she feels in playing this role.
Eugene Naughton, president of Dollywood Parks and Resorts, also voiced his enthusiasm for Davis’s participation. “Our guests come to Dollywood to make memories, have fun, and be inspired to dream bigger. Quinn embodies that same spirit. We are proud to support her dreams this year, and we hope she achieves another top-five finish on Thursday,” he stated.
As the race approaches, anticipation builds around the unique blend of country culture and competitive spirit that Davis represents. With her heartfelt dedication to Dolly Parton and her charity, Davis is not only aiming to triumph on the racetrack but also to continue influencing the lives of young readers through the Imagination Library initiative.
This special event showcases the profound connection between pop culture and sporting endeavours, illustrating how admirers can merge their passions to give back to the community. By racing in honour of a beloved icon and contributing to a worthy cause, Quinn Davis is setting a remarkable example for aspiring athletes and fans alike.
