Sheryl Lee Ralph, renowned for her role in the popular sitcom *Abbott Elementary*, has shared an exciting revelation regarding the scale of celebrity affection she received after her momentous Emmy win in 2022. Following her historic achievement of becoming only the second Black woman to claim the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, Ralph received an extravagant bouquet from none other than Beyoncé, but according to Ralph, it was not the largest arrangement she received.
During the 78th Emmy Awards, which took place on 14th September, 2022, Ralph disclosed to E! that her floral tribute from Beyoncé paled in comparison to a previous gift from Oprah Winfrey. The actress, now 69, noted that Winfrey’s floral delivery was so grand that it required a truck to transport it. “She sent me the biggest, most beautiful arrangement, second only to the ones that Oprah sent me that were so big we had to have a truck,” Ralph explained.
Ralph further revealed her sentimental nature by confessing that she has kept the cards and petals from both of these impressive gifts. “I look at them whenever I go up into my office,” she added, emphasising the significance of the mementoes.

Ralph originated the role in the 1981 Broadway production, while Beyoncé took on the character in the 2006 film adaptation.
