Winter, 28, took to Instagram to showcase a series of photos that captured the moments from their weekend together, captioning the post, “very modern weekend, actually.” Among the friends featured in the pictures were Gould’s girlfriend, singer-songwriter Sadie Jean, and Camden Wikler, the founder and CEO of Cwik Supplements.

*Modern Family*, which aired for 11 successful seasons from 2009 until its conclusion in 2020, remains a significant part of television history. During its run, the sitcom accumulated an impressive total of 22 Emmy Awards, including five for Outstanding Comedy Series. The show’s popularity was sustained by a talented ensemble cast that also featured notable actors such as Sofia Vergara, Ed O’Neill, Julie Bowen, and Ty Burrell.
In her role as Alex Dunphy, Winter portrayed the intelligent and ambitious middle child in a family that showcased various modern day dynamics. Gould, 27, played her carefree younger brother, Luke. Ferguson lent his talent to the show as Mitchell “Mitch” Pritchett, the brother of Claire Dunphy and uncle to Alex and Luke.
Jeff Greenberg, who served as the casting director for *Modern Family*, was recognised for his outstanding contributions to the series, winning six consecutive Emmys for Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series between 2010 and 2016.
Since the end of the show, Winter has continued to pursue her career in acting, securing voice roles in various projects. Notably, she has lent her voice to the character Sabrina Grimm in the animated series *The Sisters Grimm* on Apple TV+ and continues to voice Disney’s Princess Sofia.
The bonds formed during the production of *Modern Family* appear to have endured long after the series wrapped up. Winter and Gould’s decision to become roommates in Los Angeles is a testament to the close relationships developed during their time on the show.
Meanwhile, Ferguson has been keeping himself busy with theatrical pursuits, having recently reprised his role as Truman Capote in the play *Tru* in London. The dynamics within the *Modern Family* cast have remained strong, with many members reuniting over the years since the finale.
Just last month, a reunion featuring other cast members—Vergara, Ferguson, Bowen, and O’Neill—took place, with Vergara sharing snapshots on her Instagram. Reflecting on the time that has passed, she remarked, “With my American family!!! I can’t believe it’s been 6 years since the Modern Family finale!!! I miss you guys!!!”
Vergara previously revealed to *People* magazine that the cast often stays connected via a group chat, expressing that maintaining these connections is important to them. She did, however, add a humorous note about Ed O’Neill’s response times, saying, “Ed answers like five days later about something, and then we have no clue what he’s answering about.” Yet, she emphasised how “pretty cool” it is that they all remain close.
Overall, the nostalgic connections formed during the journey of *Modern Family* continue to thrive, ensuring that the spirit of the show lives on in the friendships forged behind the scenes. As the cast members gather and reminisce, they continue to celebrate the legacy of a show that has left an indelible mark on television history.
