Rick Harrison, the well-known star of the reality television series *Pawn Stars*, has recently undergone emergency surgery. On 4th September, the 61-year-old was admitted for what was initially thought to be a minor procedure, only for doctors to discover that he required a bypass surgery. Harrison’s representative confirmed to *People* magazine that he was discharged from the hospital on 7th September and is “resting comfortably” at home. The 42-year-old suffered multiple injuries, including 11 broken ribs, a situation that he communicated to his father through social media. In his post, he expressed regret at missing the wedding, saying, “Sorry Pops looks like I’m missing your wedding.”

Rick expressed disappointment over his son’s absence during the ceremony but also acknowledged the fortunate aspect of Corey sustaining no internal injuries. “It sucks that he didn’t [attend]. I wanted him to be there. He was one of my groomsmen,” Rick stated in an interview with Fox News, “Fortunately, it’s bones that’ll heal, no internal damage or anything like that.” He also shared that he visited Corey in the hospital before his wedding, reassured that his son was on the road to recovery.
