Moji and Isaiah Charles, popular social media influencers, have joyfully announced the arrival of their third child, a son named Micah. The couple, who married in June 2022, shared the news exclusively with PEOPLE, revealing that Micah arrived on August 17, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. This new addition joins their lively household, which already includes two-year-old twins, Elianna and Josiah.

Moji, who has openly spoken about her struggles with pregnancy loss and fertility challenges, described the feeling of welcoming Micah as both “exciting and shocking.” She expressed that the experience felt like their family was “being made whole,” a sentiment that resonates deeply following her previous losses, particularly after losing a set of triplets.

Reflecting on her initial surprise at being pregnant with Micah, Moji stated, “We were still dealing with the twins, and we had no talks of having another one right now.” She conveyed her deep gratitude for the opportunity to conceive again, especially given her apprehensions about her fertility in the past.

The couple was eager to create a unique and memorable birth experience for their newborn, having recently moved into a new home in Houston. Isaiah highlighted their decision to have a home birth, a long-held desire for Moji. After enduring over eleven hours of labour, Moji shared her thoughts during the final stages, describing the experience as “definitely supernatural.” She recalled moments of doubt, stating, “I felt like I had nothing in me left,” but found renewed strength through prayer.
Looking back on her journey, Moji expressed a sense of peace throughout her pregnancy and the birth experience. “There were certain times that you’re afraid of little complications… but I feel like God always gave me peace about the pregnancies,” she said. The couple’s faith has played a significant role in their experiences, and as a symbol of this connection, they chose the name Micah, meaning “Who is like God?”.
Isaiah echoed Moji’s sentiments, relating his feelings of involvement during the home birth. The experience allowed him to appreciate Moji’s strength further. He was able to be present for every moment of the process, even catching Micah when he was born. This new perspective has deepened his respect for his wife’s endurance during childbirth.
The couple experienced a particularly special moment when their son was born in his amniotic sac, which Moji interpreted as a sign of Micah’s uniqueness. “It felt like it was a gift, like God wrapped a gift for us,” she shared, emphasising the significance of Micah’s birth.
In the spirit of transparency, Moji and Isaiah have consistently used their platforms to share their family journey, including their struggles with fertility and pregnancy loss. Describing their openness as part of their purpose, Isaiah stated, “With every situation or barrier we go through, we always feel like we need to testify or bring people along the journey, so it can encourage others.”
For Moji, sharing her experiences publicly was inspired by the support she received from others when facing her fertility challenges. She recalled feeling isolated and alone during her struggles, making the connections she forged through social media invaluable. “I wanted to be able to do that for other women too… and just give them that comfort,” she said.
Now, as a family of five, the couple is excited to create new memories and nurturing the family bonds that lie ahead. Moji is particularly looking forward to milestone moments with her children, while Isaiah aims to cultivate individual relationships with each of them.
The twins, Elianna and Josiah, have welcomed their new brother enthusiastically, showering him with affection. Moji describes their behaviour toward Micah as “so sweet,” reflecting the joy and love that now fills their home. As their family continues to grow, both Moji and Isaiah are eager to discover the dynamics that will unfold in their evolving family life.
In this new chapter, the Charles family appears poised for further adventures, guided by love, faith, and a shared commitment to supporting each other through the ups and downs of parenthood.
