In an extensive eleven-part post published on August 28, Kelley, aged 49, acknowledged her past issues with mental health, including what she described as “breakthrough drug-induced mania with psychosis.” This episode was reportedly driven by a combination of stress, hormonal changes, past traumas, and hallucinogens mixed with prescribed medications.

Kelley began her post with a candid admission of her struggles, noting that it had taken her a year to fully recognise the gravity of her condition. “I felt like my brain had been hijacked,” she wrote, explaining the overwhelming sensation of her life spiralling out of control. “How do I even start?” she reflected, clearly emotional as she began to unveil her journey towards recovery.
In her messages, Kelley expressed profound remorse, especially towards her husband of 20 years, Scott, and their three children: Jackson, 17, Miller, 13, and Lucy Marie, 12. She specifically mentioned the difficult experiences her family endured during her struggles, admitting that her actions were not rooted in reality and resulted in “profound harm.” “Causing you pain and being the reason you suffered will haunt me for the rest of my life,” she conveyed, emphasising her desire to protect her family.
Kelley’s previous struggles became alarmingly visible following a series of erratic behaviours, leading to an involuntary psychiatric hold in June 2025. This incident unfolded just days after Scott announced he had filed for divorce, amidst increasing tensions and distress within the family dynamic.
As her mental health deteriorated, Scott was compelled to take legal action to ensure the safety of their children. He filed for a restraining order, which was later withdrawn after they reached a temporary custody agreement. Her behaviour escalated, culminating in an arrest in August 2025 on charges related to electronic harassment following threatening social media posts about her ex-husband.
Despite these troubling circumstances, Kelley expressed gratitude to Scott for his unwavering support during her tumultuous mental health journey. “You never gave up on me, and you fought like hell until you landed me in safe harbour,” she stated, indicating her commitment to using her recovery to inspire positive change in herself and for others.
Kelley also acknowledged the impact of her behaviour on her wider community in Park City, Utah, where she and her family have lived for two decades. In her post, she thanked the community for their love and support, recognising their role in helping her family navigate a challenging chapter in their lives.
Additionally, both Kelley and Scott were recently spotted together with their children at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, suggesting a commitment to healing and co-parenting as they move forwards. Scott commented on their ongoing recovery, highlighting their dedication to honesty and support for one another and their children.
Kelley Wolf’s journey serves as a reminder of the complexities of mental health and the importance of seeking help. As she continues to work on her recovery with the guidance of professionals, her candid admission and heartfelt apologies reflect significant personal growth and a sincere wish to repair the damage caused by her past behaviours.
