At 82 years old, Knight has decided that it is time to step back from the stage. In her heartfelt message, she conveyed her desire to focus on transitioning into a different phase of life. “After much soul searching, I’ve decided that I will be easing into fewer performances while focusing on transitioning into the next stage of my career and life moving forward,” she stated. Knight mentioned her excitement about spending quality time on projects with her husband and with her grandchildren.
