A Boston man has been indicted in connection with a fatal boating incident that took the life of Elizabeth “Lizzie” Dankert, a 24-year-old soccer player. Lawrence Shieh, 40, is facing serious charges after allegedly crashing a boat while under the influence of alcohol on May 13. According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office, Shieh has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, as well as multiple counts related to operating a boat while intoxicated, including causing death and serious bodily injury.
