During a panel discussion at NBCUniversal’s Backlot Pass event in Los Angeles in August, Leoni expressed her delight, stating, “We had a lot of fun on *Madam Secretary*. We wanted to get lighter now that the world feels darker.”
Daly echoed this sentiment, reflecting on their unique situation: “We spent six years pretending to be married on TV, and now we get to do it again, but we actually are married. It’s a miracle.
