The post, which appeared on Instagram, showcases the 16-year-old enjoying a moment of adventure while hiking. Kardashian Barker, who co-founded the wellness brand Lemme, expressed her enjoyment of the family holiday with the caption, “Big family vacation girl.” Among the images, viewers also catch a heartfelt moment with her husband, Travis Barker, holding their youngest son, Rocky Thirteen, alongside lively clips of their older children engaged in wake surfing activities.

The couple, who tied the knot in May 2022, have quite the blended family, with a total of seven children. Travis Barker shares his son Landon, aged 22, and daughter Alabama, 20, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, as well as being close to his stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya. Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian Barker has three children—Mason, 16, Penelope, aged 14, and Reign, who is 11—with her former partner Scott Disick. Together, they welcomed baby Rocky Thirteen in November 2023.
In a conversation with PEOPLE, the Blink-182 drummer reflected on the dynamics of their large family. “Fortunately, all of our kids get along,” Barker noted. He emphasised their efforts to maintain a normal family life, mentioning that while the children often engage in separate activities, it’s vital for the entire family to gather weekly for Sunday dinners. “There’s never a Sunday where we don’t have family dinner,” he stated. “I love being present. I also love leading by example.”
Mason’s appearance in the vacation photos may be infrequent, as Kardashian Barker typically keeps her eldest son away from the public eye. However, sister Khloé Kardashian recently shared on her podcast that Mason has been watching the family’s reality series, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” In a segment where she addressed fan questions, she recounted how Mason had shown interest in the show, leading to some amusing reflections.
Khloé explained, “I remember Scott [Disick] texted us—maybe it was last year or two years ago, tops. But I swear it was last year—and Mason just started watching all of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ when he was around 14 or 15.” She highlighted Mason’s cheerful surprise at their family dynamics during the show’s earlier seasons, saying, “He just said, ‘Wow, you guys were such a vibe.’” Khloé humorously countered, “Were? We’re still a f–king vibe. Like, what are you talking about?”
Continuing with her thoughts, she mentioned how Mason found the creative aspects of their show entertaining and noted how different their personalities can be around children compared to in past episodes. “He was so entertained by it,” Khloé added, revealing that the teenager was astonished by the variance in family personalities over time.
It appears that there is a bridge of curiosity and nostalgia as the younger generation starts to look back at the family’s past portrayals on reality television. Khloé acknowledged that she would likely allow her own children, Tatum and True, to watch the series at a similar age as Mason when he started to engage with it.
As Kourtney Kardashian Barker continues to navigate her public and private life, the snapshot of Mason in the wild serves as a reminder of the joys of family and the shared experiences that bond them. The family’s commitment to maintaining close ties is evident and resonates through their traditions and interactions, giving fans an insight into their familial foundation beyond their celebrity status.
