Wife of Missing Soldier Gives Birth Nearly 2 Months After He Vanished and Says Their Daughter ‘Looks Just Like Him’

The family of Specialist Sayveon Anderson, who has been missing since late June, is grappling with uncertainty as his wife, Jasmyne Mowry, recently gave birth to their daughter, Nadia Liora Mowry-Anderson. The child was born on August 9, a poignant moment tinged with sadness due to Anderson’s ongoing absence.

Anderson, 25, was last seen at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, after he failed to report for a formation on June 29. His sudden disappearance has left his family deeply concerned and frustrated, as they feel there is not enough information regarding his whereabouts.

Jasmyne expressed her mixed emotions about becoming a mother in these circumstances. She shared with local news channel WNCN, “It was the best time of my life with her coming, but it was also such a lonely part, too. Because he should have been there.” She noted that the newborn resembles her father, which adds to the emotional weight of the situation.
