**Tragic Kidnapping Unfolds in Chino Hills: New Details Emerge Following Fatal Shooting Incident**

In a harrowing incident that has shaken the community of Chino Hills, California, a man was tragically found shot inside the trunk of a vehicle following a kidnapping. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that the victim, 60-year-old Shukur Aikebaer, was abducted from his home on the evening of July 29.

The sequence of events leading to this disheartening scenario began when Aikebaer stepped outside to investigate an interruption in the power supply to his residence. Investigators believe that while he was inspecting the electrical panel, he was targeted by suspects Zhengfeng Bo, 67, and Jianquan Bo, 66, who allegedly shot him before taking him away.

The sheriff’s department received reports of gunfire and the sound of someone screaming just after 10:00 p.m., prompting a swift police response to the 2100 block of Monteverde Drive. A neighbour recounted the terrifying experience, stating, “I was in the garage and I heard two or three shots. When I heard the shots, I turned around and heard somebody yelling, ‘Help me, help me!’”

As deputies arrived on the scene, they noticed a vehicle speeding away from the area and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. However, the driver did not comply, leading authorities on a brief pursuit that ended in the 2400 block of Wandering Ridge Drive. Once the vehicle came to a halt, one suspect, Jianquan Bo, surrendered.

In a shocking turn of events, the driver, Zhengfeng Bo, allegedly approached the trunk of the vehicle and fired a weapon inside before police officers returned fire, resulting in his injury. Upon opening the trunk, deputies discovered Aikebaer, who was gravely wounded from a gunshot. Despite immediate efforts to save him, both Aikebaer and Zhengfeng Bo were pronounced dead at the scene.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Gloria Orejel described the incident as “disturbing,” indicating that Aikebaer had been abducted from his home just moments earlier. Authorities have since revealed that the victim and one of the suspects had a prior working relationship, raising questions about the motives behind the kidnapping.

After the tragic events, detectives continued their investigation and sought to establish the cause of the power interruption that preceded the abduction. They received assistance from the Irvine Police Department to search the home shared by Zhengfeng and Jianquan Bo, where further evidence related to the crime was recovered.

Jianquan Bo has since been arrested and charged with murder and kidnapping. Currently held without bail at the West Valley Detention Center, his case remains ongoing as investigators piece together the circumstances that led to this devastating crime.
