Kloss reflected on the growth of Kode with Klossy, which has expanded significantly from its inception. Initially starting with just 21 scholarships during its first summer, the programme now boasts over 12,000 alumni who have taken part. Many of these participants have gone on to become leaders within the tech community, further underscoring the success of Kloss’s endeavour.
“She really took that and ran with it,” Kloss said of Jose’s illustrations, appreciating the creativity and vibrancy they bring to the story. The collaboration was particularly meaningful for Kloss, who finds joy in being able to share such narratives with her children at bedtime. “It’s very personal,” she explained, noting the feedback she received from her young critics as invaluable to the development of the book.
During the process of crafting *Spaghetti Code*, Kloss had the opportunity to read early drafts to her son’s preschool class, an experience she described as humbling. “They tell you exactly what they think,” she stated, recalling their insightful questions and honest critiques.
