**The Beach Boys Postpone Summer Tour, Set to Resume in September**

The Beach Boys, the iconic American rock band known for their surf sound and harmonies, have announced a postponement of their upcoming summer tour dates. The decision comes as the band looks to take a brief hiatus before returning to the stage in September.
Mike Love, a founding member of the band, shared this news in a statement via his Instagram account. He expressed gratitude to fans for their understanding, noting that the summer performances are a highlight for the band each year. In the statement, he highlighted that the band will continue celebrating the 60th anniversary of their seminal album, *Pet Sounds,* during the rescheduled shows.
The Endless Summer Gold Tour, which was initially set to run from July 23 to September 3, will now be restructured, with all affected dates pushed to later this year. Love assured fans that previously purchased tickets would remain valid for the newly announced dates.
“Playing for you is the highlight of our summer every year — especially as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States while saluting the 60th anniversary of *Pet Sounds*,” Love stated. He added, “To keep the good vibrations going strong, we’ll be taking a short break to recharge before getting back on the road in September. Thanks for your understanding. We can’t wait to see you back out there.”
This announcement comes on the heels of Love discussing the influence of the late Brian Wilson, the band’s legendary frontman, whose contributions to *Pet Sounds* have left a lasting impact on the music world. The album features classic tracks like “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” and “God Only Knows,” and is often hailed as a masterpiece in the history of popular music.
During an interview with PEOPLE, Love remarked on Wilson’s legacy and his artistic vision that helped shift the band’s direction. “It showed what Brian was capable of when left to just do what he wanted to do, which is songwriting, production and recording. *Pet Sounds* was the absolute testament to that,” he noted.
Recently, Love received further recognition for his contributions to music when he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June 2025. Reflecting on the honour, he stated, “It’s really great to have my contribution to the Beach Boys’ music finally recognised. I’m being inducted into an organization that has so many fantastic talented people, so it’s an enormous honour.”
The Beach Boys’ fans can look forward to the rescheduled dates of the Endless Summer Gold Tour, which will showcase the band’s classic repertoire, including songs that have defined generations. The new performances will commence on September 24 in West Springfield, Massachusetts, with additional stops including venues in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and a notable return to the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
The full list of rescheduled tour dates has been announced, allowing fans to plan accordingly. The band will perform at various locations including Alabama Theatre in North Myrtle Beach, Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington, and PNC Pavilion in Cincinnati, among others.
In November, the Beach Boys will perform at the Epcot Centre in Florida as part of a celebratory experience at Walt Disney World Resort. Following that, a performance is scheduled at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Virginia, before concluding the restructured tour in May 2027 at River Cree Resort and Casino in Canada.
With the summer break ahead, the hope is that the band will return revitalised, ready to deliver memorable performances to their loyal fans while commemorating significant anniversaries in their storied career. As Love stated, it is shaping up to be a “September to Remember” for enthusiasts of The Beach Boys and their timeless music.
