**Tragedy Strikes Family in Fatal Alabama Crash**
In a heartbreaking incident in central Alabama, three members of the same family lost their lives in a catastrophic multi-vehicle collision on 20 July. The tragic event involved a GMC Envoy driven by 65-year-old Valerie J. Granville from Montgomery. Emergency services responded quickly to the scene, but sadly, Granville was pronounced dead at the site of the accident. Her two passengers, 39-year-old Vensen E. Granville and 69-year-old Willie J. Gholston, who also lived in Montgomery, succumbed to their injuries and were declared dead shortly thereafter.
The driver of the pickup truck, identified as 47-year-old Robert B. Eaton Jr. from Meridianville, Alabama, sustained injuries in the crash and was subsequently transported to a medical facility in Montgomery for treatment.
