In a bid to enhance the experience for baseball fans, McDonald’s is launching a new initiative aimed at those attending games in select cities. The fast-food giant has introduced a limited-edition McValue Pack, designed specifically for fans to take advantage of lenient stadium policies regarding outside food. The initiative is set to roll out in Boston, Chicago, and Seattle, where fans can conveniently pick up their packs before heading to the game.

On July 22, McDonald’s announced the availability of these clear bags, dubbed “MVPs.” Each pack includes popular items from the McDonald’s menu, such as a McChicken, a McDouble, and four-piece McNuggets, creating a perfect pre-game meal for fans eager to enjoy delicious food while cheering on their favourite teams.

Fans will be able to collect their McValue Packs from specific restaurant locations starting one hour prior to game time. For those residing in Boston, the designated pickup point is located at 540 Commonwealth Avenue, close to Fenway Park, with collections beginning at 6:10 p.m. ET ahead of a 7:10 p.m. game. Meanwhile, in Chicago, fans can pick up their packs at the McDonald’s located at 3610 North Clark Street, also starting at 6:10 p.m. CT, just before the first pitch at 7:10 p.m. CT. In Seattle, the McValue Pack can be collected at 2401 4th Avenue South, available starting at 11:40 a.m. PT ahead of a midday 12:40 p.m. game.
For those who miss the opportunity to grab their McValue Packs on game day, they are not out of luck. Beginning July 24 at 9 a.m. ET, the bags will be available for purchase online through GoldenArchesUnlimited.com. Each purchase comes with a $10 Arch card, giving fans an additional way to enjoy McDonald’s offerings at the stadium.
As baseball fans become increasingly accustomed to bringing their own snacks to games, McDonald’s move feels timely. The recent trend has seen attendees bring a wide array of food items into stadiums, from subs and mini cupcakes to tacos and pizzas. McDonald’s clear bags aim to ride this wave while offering fans a hassle-free option that includes some of the brand’s most beloved menu items.
On the day of a recent game at Wrigley Field in Chicago, fans reported that bringing their McValue Pack into the stadium was a straightforward process, with security showing no concern over the outside food. Despite the Cubs’ loss against the Detroit Tigers, fans enjoyed the convenience of having their favourite McDonald’s meals right at their seats, creating a memorable experience that highlighted both the joy of game day and the savings associated with avoiding stadium concession prices.
The McValue Pack initiative not only caters to the appetite for convenience but also adds a fun twist to the traditional experience of dining at sporting events. As fans increasingly seek ways to enhance their outings, the partnership between McDonald’s and baseball stadiums may signal a new trend in the sports concession landscape, appealing to those who cherish both savings and variety in their game-day snacks.
McDonald’s hopes that this initiative will resonate with baseball enthusiasts across the participating cities and encourage more fans to enjoy attending games in a way that suits their tastes and budgets. As more details unfold, it remains clear that McDonald’s is keen on being part of the ballgame experience, celebrating the joy of sport while accommodating the preferences of modern fans.
