A Baltimore family’s night out at a Morgan Wallen concert took a shocking turn when they allege they were urinated on by a fellow concertgoer. The incident reportedly occurred on 18 July at M&T Bank Stadium during Wallen’s performance, leaving the family distressed and seeking answers.

Troy Grevelding, the complainant, attended the concert with his wife, brother, and two young nieces. According to Troy, the situation escalated when a man, who he believes was intoxicated, mistakenly returned to the wrong seat and allegedly urinated on them mid-show. Troy recounted how, during Ella Langley’s opening act, he had previously spoken to the man, who was also with his family. He had kindly asked the individual to refrain from talking loudly on FaceTime during the performance.
Troy’s unpleasant experience began when he felt something unusual during the concert. Initially assuming it might have just been spilled beer, he was startled when his wife alerted him that the man was urinating on her leg. “At that point, I looked over my shoulder, and the man’s trousers were completely down,” Troy said, describing the moment as shocking and surreal.
The Grevelding family now reflects on what they termed a “premeditated” act. They were left with clothing soiled with urine and a shared sense of outrage. Troy expressed his frustration, stating, “I don’t care what he was doing because I was getting peed all over, my wife was getting peed all over, and my eight-year-old niece was getting peed on.” He added that in that distressing moment, time felt as though it had slowed down.
Tim Grevelding, Troy’s brother who was also at the concert with his daughters, echoed the sentiment of disbelief and disgust. He described the overall experience as “sickening,” especially since it was his daughters’ first concert. “We had a one-and-a-half-hour ride back and we were covered in urine. It just wasn’t the outcome we were looking for,” Tim recounted.
Both brothers have since contacted the Senior Vice President of Operations and Customer Experience at M&T Bank Stadium in the hope of seeking accountability for the incident. “At the end of the day, my goal is to hold everybody accountable for what you did or did not do,” Troy remarked.
The incident has drawn the attention of local authorities, prompting the Maryland Transportation Authority Police to investigate the matter. While the individual accused of urinating on the family was detained following the incident, reports suggest that he was not arrested at the time. An active investigation is currently underway, with police reviewing security footage from the stadium.
In the aftermath, Troy even shared a video of the police speaking with him and his wife about the incident. Officers mentioned that certain processes must be followed before making an arrest, including a review of the available footage, which the family could potentially subpoena in order to file charges against the individual involved.
As the investigators continue their work, the Greveldings remain eager to see justice served for the distress they endured during what was supposed to be an enjoyable evening of music. They assert that they want to ensure no other family experiences a similar ordeal at live events.
As inquiries continue, efforts to reach M&T Bank Stadium, Maryland Transportation Authority Police, and Morgan Wallen’s representatives for comments are in progress, with hopes for an official statement on this troubling occurrence.
