Paulina Porizkova, the renowned model and actress, married television writer Jeff Greenstein on July 3, in a charming ceremony held at the scenic Lake Orta in northern Italy. The couple’s wedding was notably a family affair, with close relatives playing key roles in the celebration.

The intimate gathering saw 78 guests in attendance, creating a warm and personal atmosphere. Porizkova’s brother and Greenstein’s sister officiated the ceremony, highlighting the strong family ties at the heart of the occasion. Adding to the familial involvement, Porizkova’s two sons, Jonathan and Oliver Ocasek, partook as musicians during the procession, with Oliver playing the violin and Jonathan accompanying on guitar alongside Eron, Porizkova’s stepson. They performed “The Moldau,” a beloved piece by composer Bedrich Smetana, in what became a poignant moment for the couple.

Among the guests were Porizkova’s mother, Anna Porizkova, and her stepfather, Joe Bottino, further underscoring the sense of community that permeated the event. Greenstein, who also has a son from a previous marriage, was joined by his family in celebrating this significant milestone.
For their special dance, the newlyweds chose the classic tune “Moon River,” which they complemented with a waltz they had practiced diligently in New York prior to the wedding. Reflecting on the joy of their first dance, Porizkova shared, “It feels like we’re flying when we’re dancing together,” revealing the deep connection they share.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the nearby Villa Crespi for dinner and dancing, where tables were uniquely themed after famous Italian directors. The culinary experience was curated by renowned chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, featuring dishes such as linguine with baby squid and soused trout. The evening continued with a lively reception characterised by a carefully selected playlist and a deejay, Giampiero Ponte, ensuring that the celebration remained spirited well into the night.
The couple’s wedding rings were a personal touch as they were designed by Porizkova and crafted by the Los Angeles-based jeweller Peter Norman. Porizkova, who wore a stunning couture gown from House of Gilles, described the experience as both beautiful and meaningful, surrounded by friends and family.
Looking ahead, the couple has plans for their honeymoon, which will take them cruising around the picturesque Greek Islands. There is also the practical matter of finding a new residence in Manhattan, as Porizkova’s current rental unit is on the market. She candidly discussed her feelings of being somewhat uprooted, explaining that while she tends to prefer a stable nest, they are eager to embrace the adventures that await them in Europe.
With no fixed return date, the couple seems ready to bask in their newlywed status while exploring the continent. Porizkova expressed her enthusiasm with a light-hearted remark: “We have no return ticket yet, so we’re just going to hop around until we’re tired,” embodying the spirit of their romantic getaway.
As Paulina Porizkova and Jeff Greenstein embark on this new chapter together, their wedding not only celebrates their union but also the strong foundations built upon love, family, and shared experiences.
