During the trip, which she attended with her fiancé, Colin Dooley, Dupree expressed her reluctance to leave Myrtle Beach. “It is the last day in Myrtle Beach and I do not want to leave,” she remarked, as the couple reflected on their time spent exploring the area and considering a potential move there.

Although Dupree felt physically restored after getting some rest, she candidly admitted that she was still struggling mentally. She described her medication as a vital component in regulating her mood and sleep, stating, “I’m glad that I’m feeling more energised, like more rested… Mentally, I’m still not feeling the best.” This highlights the complexity of her condition, where physical improvement does not always translate to mental well-being.

Dupree further elaborated on the challenges she faces without her medication. She recalled that even missing a day of her treatment could leave her emotions in disarray, saying, “That’s how I used to be unmedicated.” The effects of her condition can be far-reaching, influencing not just her mood but also the way she interacts with her surroundings and loved ones.
In response to her struggles, Dooley offered reassurance and support, highlighting the strength of their relationship. “You know that it’s something that I can perfectly handle and not freak out about,” he stated, underscoring his commitment to being there for Dupree, no matter the circumstances.
Baylen reflected on her history with mental health, acknowledging, “I’ve been very depressed a lot of my life.” She has been transparent about her journey with mental health issues, explaining to Dooley that her medicated self is the only version he has come to know. This candid conversation exemplifies the couple’s strong bond and understanding of one another’s challenges.
With her wedding approaching within the next month, Dupree expressed gratitude for having Dooley by her side. Their dynamic is one of mutual respect and compassion, with Dupree noting how fortunate she feels to have him as her partner. “You’ve always really been patient and giving and understanding,” she remarked, emphasising the importance of a supportive relationship during difficult times.
