Katia, who is also a musician and the host of “The Un-a-Parent” podcast, recounted how she first crossed paths with Francisco while completing her studies at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. As she was poised to graduate in 2019, Francisco, then in Arizona for spring training, reached out through social media. “He slid into my DM,” she remarked during her conversation with host Skyler Caruso.
