Twinkie the Pomeranian has captured the hearts of audiences not only through her charming performances on America’s Got Talent but also by officially setting a Guinness World Record for the fastest completion of 10 arm jumps through a human’s arms. Accomplished in a remarkable time of 7.48 seconds, the two-year-old dog, part of the Acro Canine Crew, has proven that size does not limit talent.

Owner and professional dog trainer Jennifer Fraser, a Canadian, expressed her delight about the new achievement and explained that Twinkie’s skills stem from a foundation of positive reinforcement. “Twinkie knows a wide variety of tricks, all taught using generous amounts of treats, praise, and love,” Fraser disclosed, highlighting the gradual training process that culminated in this record-breaking feat.
Fraser noted that Twinkie is no stranger to performing, as she is part of a dance troupe that recently impressed host Terry Crews, earning them a coveted Golden Buzzer on the popular talent show. The record jump is just one of the many athletic tricks in Twinkie’s repertoire. Fraser proudly shared that her lively Pomeranian is also adept at various stunts, including catches, leg flips, and foot jumps.
“Twinkie is like a border collie trapped in a tiny body,” Fraser remarked, emphasising her dog’s enthusiasm and drive. “She has endless energy, incredible confidence, and absolutely loves learning new things.” While treats are a motivating factor for Twinkie, Fraser noted that her dog is equally excited by the training experience itself. “She genuinely enjoys working with me,” Fraser explained, reinforcing the bond they share.
This achievement marks Twinkie’s first individual Guinness World Record title, but Fraser has a rich history with the accolade, having previously broken 19 records with Twinkie and her other dogs, including two Australian shepherds and a rescue dog. Among their numerous record-holding feats is a remarkable achievement by a dog named Daiquiri, which previously retrieved 18 items of clothing from a washing line and deposited them in a laundry basket within a minute.
Fraser’s motivations extend beyond personal achievements; she aims to inspire others to recognise the extraordinary potential that small dogs possess when given proper training and encouragement. “One of my favourite things is showing people that small dogs can accomplish incredible things with the right opportunities,” she remarked.
Beyond her talents, Twinkie is described as an affectionate companion who loves socialising and showcasing her extraordinary skills. “She is a huge cuddler who is always eager to meet new people and show off what she can do,” Fraser added, reflecting on Twinkie’s outgoing personality.
Looking ahead, Fraser is optimistic that this current Guinness World Record will be the first of many for Twinkie. “My goal is to inspire others to embrace positive training methods and to show that dogs of all sizes can achieve amazing things,” she stated, highlighting the importance of determination, confidence, and teamwork in reaching impressive goals.
For those looking to teach their own dogs new tricks, Fraser offers straightforward advice: “Take your time, break the trick down into small achievable steps, and be patient.” She also emphasises the importance of making training enjoyable, so that dogs remain engaged and eager to learn.
Twinkie’s record-breaking accomplishment not only cements her status as a star in the canine community but also serves as a testament to the incredible possibilities when love, patience, and training are combined.
