The conversation, which surfaced in June, suggested that there was a significant pay gap among the show’s lead actors, particularly between Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, who take on key roles in the series.

The podcast, *In the Vault*, released an episode that purported to reveal the earnings of various cast members during the show’s first season. According to the discussion, Belmont Cameli, who plays protagonist Garrett Graham, was the highest-paid actor at approximately £30,000 per episode. His co-star Josh Heuston, who portrays the character Justin, was reported to earn about £25,000 per episode. In contrast, Ella Bright, who plays the lead role of Hannah Wells, was allegedly paid £20,000 per episode, the same as Mika Abdalla, who plays Allie.

Further claims from the podcast indicated that supporting cast members, Stephen Kalyn and Antonio Cipriano, received around £15,000 per episode, while Jalen Thomas Brooks, who portrays Tucker, was not mentioned at all in the discussion. The reported figures suggested an £80,000 discrepancy between the salaries of Bright and Cameli over the course of the season.

In response to the mounting controversy, Louisa Levy took to the comments section of the video to clarify the situation. On July 10, she stated, “Check your sources.
